What is CyREN?
CyREN stands for Cybersafety Research and Education Network. It is an online hub for people and organisations who are involved in creating a safe online world through research and education. CyREN’s basic facilities include a digital portal as well as semi-annual meetings on current themes. The primary focus of CyREN’s activities is on the studies and educational programmes by the network participants. CyREN is a place for knowledge exchange and for finding collaboration partners. CyREN facilitates and stimulates – it is not a formal organisation, it does not take away initiatives or responsibilities from others and it is strictly non-profit.
